Background

I created the balanced home™ to share my passion for creating beautiful, stress-free spaces to work and live.

 

Over the years I've helped thousands on TV, at seminars, and of course, in private homes. My goal is to help revive spaces from unnecessary clutter and years of just living a busy life. 

 

Since my clients have included a diverse mix of individuals, I understand a one-size-fits-all approach doesn't make sense. Still, everyone seems to have one thing in common: life gets busy, extra 'stuff' moves in, and spaces need to be rescued and refreshed.

I designed a tool called the balance sheet™ as a guide to help you decide what stays, and what can move out the door.

 

This tool works for everyone, every size space from single closets to 30,000 square-foot homes.

My personal life includes three grown daughters and multiple four-legged friends. The beach is my happy place. I was born and raised in Tampa, Florida, but I've squished a lot of sand between my toes on beaches worldwide.

 

I lived for several years in California, and several decades in Franklin, TN, I now reside in Chattanooga. 

 

My ancestry is double Scottish and my diverse friends from all over the world keep my perspective fresh.
